We're a privately held company based in the United Kingdom, in a beautiful town called Bath. We focus on building web applications, while also offering world-class events for the web industry.
Joanne AndrewsEvent Co-ordinator
As a seasoned event organiser, Jo will be bringing a wealth of expertise in logistics and event co-ordination. She is responsible for the Future of Web Design series of events.
Andrew Calvo VP of Sales
Andrew has a wealth of experience, having held sales and marketing positions for leading companies such as O'Reilly Media, Inc, Digidesign (A Division of Avid Technologies) and Berkeley Integrated Audio Systems (BIAS). Andrew is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Ryan Carson Director & Founder
Ryan is an entrepreneur and web advocate who has built two successful web applications; DropSend and Amigo. He also runs web events and workshops, worldwide, that inspire web designers and developers to build their own web applications.
Gillian Carson Director & Founder
Gillian's background is in the technology publishing industry where she worked for eight years. During that time she edited prominent UK web design magazine Create Online and global graphic design magazine Computer Arts.
Greg InghamChairman
Greg began as a journalist in the early 80s. He launched trade paper CTW as Editor and then moved to Future Publishing as Publisher in 1988, becoming MD in 1993 and CEO in 1998. Future floated in June 1999. By the time he left in June 2006, the company had grown from 30-odd people and £2m sales to 1,600 and £225m. Ingham is chair of Eurogamer, the DTI Games Forum, a Trustee of the games industry charity ESC, chair of the Theatre Royal Bath and a non-exec of Bright Things plc. Mel Kirk Events Co-ordinator
Mel has a background of event management and marketing, having recently managed the successful launch of an online mortgage brand. Mel will be responsible for coordinating the Future of Web Apps and other Carson Systems' events
Lisa Price Marketing Manager
Formerly editor of best-selling monthly web magazine .net, Lisa has worked in technology media for the last 8 years. As marketing manager Lisa is responsible for all marketing and advertising activity.
Mo MacbethBook-keeper
Mo takes care of all book-keeping, payments and accounting matters. She is in the office on Monday and Wednesday.
Elliot Jay StocksSenior Designer
Elliot's work has been featured in various online and offline publications, used in presentations at international web design conferences, and showcased on numerous design ‘inspiration’ websites. He's worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, and sometimes writes about web design theory & practice in several creative magazines.
